Welcome!  I'm honored to serve Lenexa - the community where I grew up and love to call home. I have been serving Ward 3 since 1999 and was elected to my 4th term in 2011.

Our Citizen Surveys provide feedback about how Lenexans think the city is doing on Quality of Life, Public Safety, City Maintenance, Parks and Recreation, Code Enforcement, and Traffic Management issues. 

Overall satisfaction with the quality of city services continues to be very high and significantly higher than national averages. I am thankful for the feedback and that citizens appreciate our service delivery, efficiency, quality, and value. However, I will not rest on any laurels or be complacent - we should improve quality in areas where citizens feel that we need to improve. 

Lenexa is fortunate to have a strong tax base to fund city services. Even so, our resources are limited and sometimes constrained because of economic conditions and the growth we've experienced. As your representative on the City Council, I strive to make informed, practical decisions because it is critical that we target resources to services that are important to you. 

Aside from our city services and quality of life, what sets Lenexa apart? People. This is a friendly, savvy community where people work hard and have big dreams. We are fortunate to have caring citizens, a professional city staff, and a Governing Body that put the city first.
